Ebooks Discovery is currently collating a range of resources from a wide range of authors, on a vast array of topics. View the category list to the right on this page to gain an idea of the scope of works to be sold through this site.

Ebooks Discovery is currently under construction, but is expected to "go live" in February 2007.

Why not submit your book for sale through this site?

The benefits include:

• no up-front costs to you and no out of pocket expenses EVER, by simply submitting your work in a distributable format.
• the freedom to set the selling price of your book.
• low commission on ACTUAL sales (the LESSER of 15% or $2.00 AUD with a minimum commission of $0.75 AUD for each transaction).
• access to a world-wide audience which, based on the experience of Progress Enterprise, will gather substantial momentum from about 4 months after the site becomes "live".
• regular payments for accrued sales, once accrued gross sales have reached $50.00 (AUD).
• public acknowledgement as the author and sole owner of the rights to your work.
• The freedom to sell your book through other avenues. We fully respect your ownership of the work.

Submitting your book

All submissions are to be your own work, or submitted with the permission of the author. Work is currently proceeding on a submission form, which will be kept for future reference.

All books should be submitted in either "pdf" (i.e. Adobe Acrobat), "lit" (i.e. Microsoft Reader for computer or "hand-held" PC reading) or "pda" (i.e. Mobipocket for hand held devices) formats.

Should providing your book in these formats be impractical, Ebooks Discovery can convert your book to any or all of these formats from a Microsoft Word document.

The cost of this conversion will be $2.50 (AUD) per 50 A4 pages or part thereof, for each format nominated.

NOTE : ALL CONVERSION COSTS WAIVED UNTIL 31 MARCH 2007!!

Ebooks Discovery will email you a link at which to make payment IF REQUIRED (i.e. for submissions received after 31 March 2007 requiring conversion). After payment is made, your book will be included in the relevant category.

Ebooks Discovery does reserve the right to reject a book for sale on this site on a number of grounds including inappropriate content or poor quality writing. Quality control will ensure a more successful for authors using the site to promote and sell their work.

Book Categories

In the event that a suitable category, and/or sub-category, does not exist for your work, please include in your email to the Webmaster a suggested category, and/or sub-category. We aim to make our site as flexible as possible for both authors and readers.

You are welcome to seek further information as required from the Webmaster at any point in time (including now!).
